Hi again,

Picked up my Birmingham Mail this evening (Mon 10 Sep) on my way back from Selly Oak.

An article by Ed Doolan, BBC WM Presenter and Mail Columnist, identified that from next April (08), all senior citizens (60+) pass holders, will be allowed to travel by bus countrywide.

I'm a senior citizen, and I'm pretty sure that that there are a few other forum members out there who qualify.

Any other Councils out there doing similar?

Bye for now,

gerry that mite be just in england,we have our own set of rulemakers in the land of song, when central goverment announce things like changes to travel, national health and education is doesnt affect us or scotland as we have our own bumblers in Cardiff bay(anyway i fall short of the required by 18 months),and i think we have a similar scheme up and running but it would be nice if it didnt stop at the border as it were:twitcy:

Just a quicky on this one.
Keith is absolutely right on this one but I think I'm correct in saying that if you are under 60 and registered disabled you are also entitled to the travel pass here in Wales.

Check it out
