View Full Version : Reg (I think Holsworth) Regimental pioneers 80/s
Hi everyone.
this is my first attempt at getting in-touch with someone via the forum, iv'e been reading some of the messages/post and haven't stoped laughing, (well done Led) so i'm having a go at this new media.
I rember Reg in my Lego days, not that I can remember much about Lemgo that was when I was in the prime of my drinking days, all I remember about him was he was a good lad and we got on well I hope someone can help me get in touch again. I think when he left he went to Caerphilly to live, as I now live in Ystrad Mynach not far from there this would be a good time to find him.
help required thanks Guvs (gauvain)

FLAME, why did they call you flame Guvs. or is that going to have to be brought up at the reunion in Feb. Recieved your deposit mate will be passing it onto the hotel along with the rest today. FLAME, dance of the flaming ar******s maybe. i'll find out in Feb. see you soon Guvs.
flame !! Ah memories, anyone in Churchcrockham for the POW mass band and drums queens jubilee in 1977 might know why I was given that nick name, see you in Feb.
I seem to recall Benny's attempt at "The Flame", Sennylager 1980, the night we had a friendly chat with 2Para. I think Benny used army bog roll. Unfortunately the flame was quicker than his dance moves, and he spent the night in casualty

Hi all.
update to this post that I started on 01/09/07 I found him, and to all of you that did know him, he hasn't changed a bit still as friendly and funny as ever.
I introduced him to the forum when he came to the house with his wife (May) after I managed to track him down, (long story) any way he is now I think our newest member " rees 146 " so if you remember him why not drop him a PM, as I'm sure after our long chat the other night he would love to hear from some of you, he couldn't get over how much the forum was keeping everyone in touch with each other, and the very few things he did read/see on the forum brought back some very good memories, well put it like this we didn't stop laughing.

Hi Steve
It's great to hear you've tracked Reg down. The last time I saw him was when I was working in Hereford in 2002/03 he was working on the new hospital.
Bri Kennedy and I always seem to get Reg into our conversations somehow...... I think it had something to do with a moped in Lemgo??? If you're reading this Reg I never tire of that story I've laughed myself until I've cried.
Great to see you've signed up to the Forum. Hope you and yours are all well?
Shirley and Maria also send ther best wishes. All the best.
Hingey
Had many a drunken night out with Reg Rees 46, Morris Wynn Williams59, Thomas 04, and who can not remember Windsor the singwriter which the windsor shields are named after.:cute:
Talking of Windsor, it was a bit of a downer to hear from Reg that he had passed away. sad to say I was'nt to surprised though.
