Cape Verde Islands

Has any one visited the island of Sal, which is one of ten islands that make up Cape Verde, situated of the west coast of Africa and Aprox 1 Hr further than the Canaries. I am looking to visit there in Oct this year, any Info would be grateful, I have looked and read up on the Islands just handy tips etc required. If any 1 has bought a property there or in the process, information would be grateful on that subject as well

Rob I have a friend who lives in Sierra Leone, not quite the islands but may have heard something about the area, I will ask him?

Hi Rob, I have read up on it, it's a wonderful location to have a peaceful holiday, however a lot of Brit's are buying plots out there. It's an up and coming place so should be good may be an investment opportunity. take care mate.

Hope ur ok buddy and have a good time this wk end, noticed u where going to comrades. Yes the investment opportunity is what im looking at Tortuga beach off plan, and planning to visit in Mid Oct when i get home. Prices have risen by quite a large % over the last 6 months, so going to take a look, prefer the year round sun.
