Message from Taffy Meredith

John Meredith aka Taffy, asked me to pass on this message to everyone. He had planned to visit Wrexham for the annual reunion this year and as a joint 80th birthday celebration. Unfortunately, his plans have been scuppered and he's of course very disappointed.

This is to let all my friends now, that i will not be coming home for my 80th birthday, also i will not be at the re-union, i,m sorry but i have developed a heart complaint, and i have been told not to travel by plane, as the firm i booked with as no extra oxogen on the plane and no connections for extra oxogen , sorry about that , it also looks like i will lose alot of money as they say i should have taken out insurance , which i did not do,i will miss you all so please think of me when you are all together and
