does any forum member have a copy of the medal roll for the Queens South Africa medal for the RWF. if so could you please check the entitlement for the following soldier: 5675 Pte W Kinsey, and e mail me the results.

The nearest number I can find to the one you are looking for is 5658 Perry J H.
I do not have Kinsey on my S/A roll. I have a medal roll of the awards of clasps some where. Tugela Heights etc. I will have a look to see if he is on this medal roll. But it will not be for a day or two and I have to find it on my HDD.

thanks Don, thats what i'm after. I have his medal with the following bars: Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal and Orange Free State. i'm hoping it's correct.

One Shea on the roll. 5260 Sgt C Shea. QSA with clasps for Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith and South Africa 1901.

Confirmed on roll pages 47 & 133. All bars correct and your missing his KSA.

I believe he was Charles John Shea.
Also served WWI with the BEF (1914 Star) awarded the LSGC and later commissioned.
