What he said about Ukraine being ‘more grateful’ was an appalling demonstration of Wallace’s lack of judgement. If Ukraine loses this war Russia will run rampant over Europe and will cause WW3. It is my feeling that it is we who should be ‘more grateful’ for Ukraine’s efforts in the face of the appalling losses and damage we in the west are doing nothing to prevent. After all the U.K. was part of the international cabal who were conned by Russia into promising Ukraine that it was safe for them to surrender their nuclear assets to Russia, thereby removing any bargaining assets they had.
