dear all,
Sorry for the delay as i have been working away.
I was one of many privileged to attend hugos funeral at Market Drayton on Monday. The huge turnout was a testimony and showed respect that hugo was held in by many. There was a large range of members from the regiment past and present who attended.
Throughout the day many stories were told about hugo. Although a sad day for all there was a lot of laughter as people remembered tales from the past of days gone by of a well known character within the RWF.
I had a chance to talk with melvin and his family during the day and his thanks goes to all that have sent cards and posts on the forum. Also i spoke with leah his wife, who also has kept all messages from the forum and printed them off for the future and she thanks all who have sent cards and posts on the forum which will serve and be kept as a reminder within both familys.
Thanks to all.
