Here's a site worth looking at "GOOGLE EARTH". type "Google Earth" into your search engine, open up "home page" & select "free download". When you have completed the download you will have a globe in view, just use the mouse or the contol panel below the map to navigate, zoom etc.
I closed in on Belfast & looked at West Belfast & how it looks today, I could zoom right in, I checked out the site that "Silver City" camp in Andersontown where B & D Coy where based in 76-77, it's now a sports field.
I also checked out "North Howard St Mill" where D Coy where in 81, The plot is still there although the waste land to the rear has now been developed.
I could'nt get the same detail in Londonderry though, pity that.
