I am registered under "captainadjutantrwf" as my late father, Captain William Cochran Cochran, served 1939/45 (and earlier, joining the colours locally in China).
However, I must apologise that I am not very good with these forums and lost contact with you for some while until I posted another message on 8th November last year, this time concerning my mother's brother rather than my father, having discovered - or at least being told by a newly-discovered second cousin in Northern Ireland - that he (my uncle) was also a Fusilier, who became a paratrooper (or at least so I'm told).
This research is therefore as much on behalf of his grand-daughter as for myself.
Ever so sorry to trouble you good people, but did I ask my question in the wrong place in November? It's just that there has been no follow-up and I wondered if perhaps I posted the message in the wrong place where no-one can see it (apart from myself). :frownicon:
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.
Sorry to trouble you.
Dennis Cochran.
