Fully agree with that sentiment, we have a raft of problems with homeless people which require more than just giving them a room.

See Gary (overpaid)Lineker put his tupence worth in yesterday regarding migrants crossing the channel then a Tory MP asked him for his address so he could send these people round and put them up on a B&B basis if he so worried about them, needless to say it wasn’t forthcoming

Saw this and thought before the likes of Gary Lineker and co start bitching about how we treat migrants maybe they ought to go and protest outside the Greek embassy first

Greece has been accused of sailing migrants out of its territory and leaving them to fend for themselves in motorless boats in the middle of the sea. <amp-iframe class="i-amphtml-layout-fixed i-amphtml-layout-size-defined i-amphtml-element i-amphtml-layout" data-block-on-consent="" height="1px" i-amphtml-layout="fixed" id="user-sync" layout="fixed" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin" src="https://cdn.metro.co.uk/base/metro-amp-user-sync/1.0.2/amp-user-sync.min.html?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmetro.co.uk%2F2020 %2F08%2F15%2Fgreece-expels-1000-migrants-abandons-sea-13134417%2F" width="1px" frameborder="0" amp-removed="" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; display: inline-block; position: relative; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden !important; --loader-delay-offset: 250ms !important;"><i-amphtml-scroll-container class="amp-active" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; right: 0px; bottom: 0px; display: block; overflow: auto;"></i-amphtml-scroll-container></amp-iframe>

Yet another EU member country not obeying EU rules! AND NOBODY COMPLAINS. Can you even imagine the furore from the Commission and the other 27 member states if we dumped migrants in boats in the middle of the North Sea.
