Senior welsh regiment

Just a quick question for you which is the senior welsh regiment currently in the British army bearing in mind amalgamation’s etc I was very surprised when I found out.

Yep British army 360 years old and the oldest welsh regiment formed 1915 is now Welsh Guards and they can’t spell the Welch right
