The Reaffirmation of Merthyr will take place on Saturday 29 February 2020. The Guards will be furnished by soldiers from the 3rd Bn The Royal Welsh. The Parade will be led by Shenkin and the Regimental Band of The Royal Welsh and march up High Street to the Red House where the inspection and ceremony will take place.
Prior to the Parade, there will be a short Commemoration Service in the Memorial Garden at St Tydfil’s Church for Cpl J Collins VC DCM.
