Oggie's funeral will take place at 1400 hours in St Mary's Church, Rhuddlan, on Monday 13th January 2020, followed by a cremation at St Asaph crematorium. As many standards as possible are asked to attend as this, hopefully, will turn out to be a military funeral. Denbigh and District Branch members are asked to attend to form a Guard of Honour outside St Mary's.

Our deepest sympathy to "Oggie's" family, friends and fellow comrades at this very sad time. As you know, I have personally stood along side "Oggie" many times whilst carrying the Standard, a true Royal Welchman if any.

A well represented funeral with, 5 standards present and, a large Guard of Honour to welcome Oggie on his final journey. The packed church with representation from civilian as well as past and present Armed Forces personnel. A thank you to Major Glynne Hughes who said the eulogie and the 3 standard bearers who completed the occasion with the visit to the crematorium.

Rest in peace Oggie.
