Gents I am looking for information in regard to the Victoria Crosses awarded to members of the RWF.

I already have the citations and a small picture of the recipient from the RRW side in frames in the 3rd Bn WO's and Sgt's Mess but I would like to add the RWF side. This would be ideal seeing as we have merged into the Royal Welsh.

If any of you already have these that you could photocopy for me it would be much appreciated or if you know where i can obtain them please let me know.

Thanks

RSM 3rd Bn

One of your TAC's has been named after a recipitent of the VC Harry Weale VC RWF which is located on station road Queensferry, next time you up this way pop in for a cuppa and you can copy his citation and photograph which is hanging on the TAC Hall wall
Look forward to seeing you
Best Regards

There is a book reviewed on the site with all the citation of Welsh VC holders, also a book 'The VC's of Wales and the Welsh Regiments' by W. Alister Williams. I have the book (which you can borrow)and I can give the mess a picture of Capt Bell winning his 'Crimea 1854'.

I also have a post card of WO2 Fred Barter which could be copied. also I have large collection of prints that might be of use.

I will bring in to work next week and visit you with Dai Smith.

It might be worth emailing Bri Bloor. I know that he had pics of all the VC holders on disc, when he was in charge of the RRT
