just wondering if anyone knows where (oscar) R,S,M slater, morgan 24 ,will 79(oc d coy driver),big wynne (d,coy stores) or little rob 47 are now... lot,s more but cant remember the name,s .....(must be old age ) cant leave out uncle harold = harold bounds QM

When I was at the depot in 77/78. Davy Wynne was a Sgt. He was in charge of Depot HQ admin. Really nice guy, even to us oiky crows. There is a pic of him in the gallery receiving his LSGC in 78.

Have a look at this thread Rich. It's in our archive and was originally posted in Mar 2000!!!!! yes 7 yrs ago. It is quite humourous and paints a good picture of Harold. It features Rowley 44 and Ray Llewelyn(Squeege) who was killed a short time after publication. He was a big supporter of our site and really missed.

AP just had a look at the thread i near wet myself as that was just like Harold .. saw two othere names there as well Ken Lawerence (my ex plt sgt) and his brother in law rocky not going to use his othere nick name .. brought back a few memories tnx..i thinl the last time i saw Ken was about 3/4 years ago i dont get out much now as i have got emphysemia so i spend a bit of time on here well that,s enough from me tnx again ...

you must have been in the Depot Crickhowell when I was there as Post NCO. Davey Wynne was 1 of the best Sgts you would ever wish to meet, I'm glad to see that I'm ot the only 1 that thinks so. Anyway all the best, and if you ever hear off Davey, give him my regards. Cheers, Braz. ( Denbigh)
