Reaffirmation of Blaenau Gwent 22 September 2018
The Parade will form up at the Market Square in Brynmawr (Post Code: NP23 4AJ) at 10.45 hrs where the Official Ceremony will take place. following the ceremony, the parade will march around the Town before returning to the Market Square where a Salute will be taken. Col Didi Wheeler will be representing the Colonel of The Regiment at this parade.
Following the Parade, a VC Stone to commemorate the award of the VC to CSM John H Williams VC DCM MM and Bar will be unveiled at 13.00 hrs outside Nantyglo Senior Citizen Hall on Chapel Road, Nantyglo (Post Code: NP23 4NF). CSM Williams is the most decorated Welsh NCO of all time.
