Although not confirmed it appears that the contract to make the Uk passports will go to a Anglo Dutch//French firm and whilst it seems strange to award it to a foreign company with us leaving the EU if you put it out to tender and a firm comes back 50 million under the UK firms bid then that firm will get it, howerever we all know that cheaper does not necessarily mean better so we will have to wait and see.
