help needed researching great grandfathers service

Hi guys, i need a little help researching my great grandfathers service history, etc. I have his medal index card but nothing else. any help would be greatly appreciated.

frederick james, 4th Welsh Regiment, service number 3874, llanelli area.

Frederick James 3875 served with 4th Welsh, having enlisted 8th March 1912. His service record still exists.
