WO2 (RQMS) CLIVE SUMMERS



I regret to inform you of the death of WO2 (RQMS) Clive Summers.



Clive was enlisted into the Glosters and towards the end of his career served as a CSM in Cwrt- y-Gollen in the early 1980’s. After completing his 22 years’ service, Clive settled in Crickhowell and was later as appointed RQMS(T) of 3 RRW until the early 1990’s.



His funeral will be held in St Edmunds Church, Church Lane, Crickhowell NP8 1BB on 20th October 2017 at 1030hrs. Following the service, family are invited to the crematorium.

I was posted to the Ord Room in the Depot when Clive was working in the QMs as a Colour SgT and Mike Coker was RQMS. He was a great Bloke to serve with, have a pint with and have a pint with. He lived in a private hiring in Crickhowell. On a lovely estate. He will be sorely missed. Condolences to Clives family and many friends. RIP, Stag over.

I served with Clive as a PSI in Cardiff. Quietly spoken, always helpful and a genuinely nice man. Godbless Clive, Rest in Peace.
