"Mel" passed away peacefully in the company of his family.
Funeral arrangements to be confirmed.
Deepest Condolences to Family, Friends and Comrades from Branch Committee and Members Denbigh and District Branch The Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association of The Royal Welsh Comrades Association. Mel was a staunch and loyal member of the branch and served in many positions on the Committee. He will be missed by all branch members.
Condolences to Mels Family. He was a true Royal Welch Man and I was proud to have known him. Always a pleasure to talk to at our monthly meetings. He will be sorely missed. RIP Mel. Gone but Never Ever Forgotten. Braz

Our deepest condolences go out to Mel's family,friends and fellow Comrades'. Braz summoned it up Mel was a true Royal Welch Fusilier and I personally had many long conversations with him when we used to be on parade with the standards etc. A person that will be truly missed. May You RIP Mel!

FUNERAL DETAIL
There will be a service for Mel on 16 May 2017 at St Peter's Church, RUTHIN, commencing at 1245 hours. Full military honours will be provided including standards, bugler and coffin drapes. Regimental standard to be provided. All who knew Mel are invited to attend. Family flowers only. This will be followed by a small service at the Crematorium.
Mel's service went off well with a packed church, 5 standards and a Guard of Honour made up by members of the Denbigh and District Branch RWFCA. Mel would have been proud and he had a good sent off. Thank you to all who took part.
