Very sad news via Paul Hinge. Former 1RWF Band Sergeant Major Stuart Taylor (85) passed away on Sunday after a battling ill health. Stuart had in recent time travelled back from South Africa, where he'd been living and passed away in hospital in North Wales. Funeral details to follow..

What sad news, the passing of yet another fine musician and a loyal member and friend of the Regimental Band. I was fortunate to have served with Stu, and was extremely proud of him gaining the position of BSM. My sympathy goes out to his family. God Bless (84)
