Sad to inform that reliable sources on FB are reporting the death of ex Cpl Mac McDonald, a well-respected former member of 1RWF who served with the Ass Pioneers, Mortars and the MT Pl. Mac was also member of the Forum and an occasional contributor to threads.
Deepest condolences to his family, comrades and friends at this very sad time.

Proud to say I served with Mac in the Mortars and again in the PRI, 1987 tour.

Couldn't add my condolence to Mac's family on face book so will do it here instead, I often met Mac in Ponty while out shopping, such a nice jolly man, sad he has been taken so soon before his time.
