After a packed service at the Caernarfon Cenotaph with Carwyn Jones and dignitary's in attendance we, Comrades made our way to the Castle to visit the Weeping Windows display and the Garden of Remembrance where the first Minister laid a wooden poppy cross to add to the 10,000 plus that has been "Planted" since July, I might add that The RWF Museum and RWF Comrades and guest members and family's have been responsible, with the help of other volunteers of raising, to date, £51,000. towards the poppy appeal (In the Castle alone) with another week to go, during the evening there was an emotional viewing of the fallen of WW1 on a large screen with the Band of the Queens own regiment playing in the background, there was a rumour that the Gurkas would be attending to serve out Curry, unfortunately they did not arrive, after an emotional but enjoyable day we made our way to Wetherspoon's for refreshment and ended up at the Caernarfon ex-Service Club
