It is with deepest regret to inform members of the passing of Ted Fleming who passed away this last week after struggling against illness for many years.
Ted was a member of the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA/RWRA even though he lived in Newport Gwent. He had served with the 2nd Bn RWF in Malaya during the fifties and was very big friends with Ray " Boggo" LLoyd (Wrexham Branch). Ted was a true RWF man and will be sadly missed by our branch and fellow comrades'
Andrew, Ted's son, has spoken to me about his funerall arrangements it is on Friday 26th August 16 service at Gwent Crematorium, Treherbert Road, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran NP44 2BZ at 1000hrs, Andrew is asking if as many comrades and friends who knew and served with Ted could attend.
I am afraid, because I am re-cuperating after an operation last week, that "I am off the road" for a couple of weeks, so sadly I wont be able to attend. TED RIP mate!
