View Full Version : The passing away of Fus/WO2 Gary Evans

It is sad to report to forum members that Gary Evans (Milan Platoon - 1st Tidworth/ Lemgo days) has sad lost his fight against cancer and has passed away this last weekend.

Gary served in the B coy then the Milan Pln 1RWF along side Peter Humphreys, myself, which i had the honour again to serve with him on the BSTT.

He then left the Army and RWF and went on the become SSM (WO2) of the Swansea Sqn 157 (Welsh) Transport Regiment RLC.

Our condolences goes out to Gary's Family Friends, and Fellow Comrade's at this very sad time.

Details of Gary's Funeral will follow.

Another sad loss to the regiment and I remember him from his regiment days. All members of the Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association - Wrexham Branch send their thoughts to Gary's family and friends at this time.
