So very sad indeed. I was only talking to him a few days ago. He was walking from Morrisons as I was going there. He told me he wasn't well but thought it wasn't too bad. RIP Paul. One of the Best. Braz

The funeral for Paul will be on Friday 16th October at 1400 hours in St Mary's Church, Denbigh, followed by cremation at Colwyn Bay crematorium. All branch members are requested to attend, to give Paul a true RWF send off. Standards will be on parade. Any bugler's free for this service, please get in touch.

Paul's funeral service was a quiet family and branch send off with a contingent of Denbigh and District Branch forming a guard of honour outside St Mary's Church, with 2 standards on parade. I wish to leave the last words to Paul Sullivan with his rendition of Forever Wales:

I love to travel the hills and dales
In my beloved country, that we call Wales
It is the country where I belong
Known the whole world over as the land of song
Be it Men of Harlech of Calon Lan
My love for Wales will never wain
Our male voice choirs are a joy to behold
They cannot be bought, nor sold
Even the hills and fields are full of song
To let you know where you belong
Our symbol is the proud dragon of red
Made out of the blood our forefathers bled
Feel no sorrow and show no grief
Those men of Wales, they died for belief
They worked down the mines, lungs full of dust
With mates alongside, each one they could trust
They loved this country, this country of Wales
That is why bravery, and Welsh courage, never fails
All the Welsh are born to be bold
We stick with what's right, and never fold
This country of ours is the very best
So keep the Welsh language, and speak it with zest
Should you be stood alone, or in a crowd
Remember why all the Welsh are so proud
God made the whole universe in only six days
Then his masterpiece was creating Wales.
