2nd Boer war Humphries G. 1589 1/RWFThan

I was hoping someone on here could help in researching G Humphries 1589, he was a member of one of the RWF Militia Battalions and volunteered to serve in the 2nd Boer war with 1/RWF. He was entitled to the Kings South Africa medal with bars for 1901 and 1902 -which I have- and does not appear on the WWI medal lists so I assume he was too old by then or had perhaps died.

Any more information on him would be great to see.
