the following is for sale in a local shop in Tywyn. west wales. nothing is known about it except that it is believed to be old. any of you good folks any info on it. the asking is £22

It looks to be a good original pre 1920 version of the other Ranks bi-metal cap badges, circa 1905 to 1920/21. Normal retail value is between £5 to £15 so £22 seems expensive to me.
