Bob was also the President of the Denbigh and District Branch of the Royal British Legion, he was also the Poppy organizer for Years. I think he must have held every post in the Branch at one time or other. A man that will be sorely missed. Condolences to Bobs Family and Many, Many Friends. Braz

Bob's funeral was well represented by The Denbigh and District Branch RWFCA with a guard of honour either side of the Church entrance both on entry and exit. A full church showed just how well thought of Bob was by locals, RBL and comrades alike. A wake was held after the event, at the Constitutional Club, Denbigh which again was well attended. Bob had the last laugh though, leaving 2 bottles of whiskey behind the bar for his RWF comrades. A sing song was soon heard from that corner of the room and a good send off for a true Royal Welch Fusilier was given. RIP Bob.
