It is with deep sadness that I have to announce the loss of our comrade and friend Chris Williams 75, Chris served with the 1st Bn RWF 1968-1971' Chris is a brother to Jim Williams 95 (Shrewsbury Branch). We extend our sincere condolences to Chris family and friends at this sad times.
Chris passed away on the 26th March 2014 having suffered a heart attack, of late Chris had not been well having under going Chemo therapy for Cancer.
The funeral will be on Friday, 11th April 2014 at 10.00hrs, the service will be held at All Saints Church, North Street, Castlefields Shrewsbury SY12JL, followed by burial at Emstry Cemetry, Shrewsbury.
The family have requested the attendance of as many of his RWF mates to attend. Refreshments will take place at the Telegraph Vaults, New Park street, Shrewsbury, Sy12LD.
Rest in Peace mate.

It's with Thanks from, My Brothers Daughter Kaylie & Dave, My Brothers Myself and all family, Every one for their, Cards, E/Mails, and all the Messages of Condolences for Chris.
And most of all to My Fellow Comrades from the Shrewsbury & District Branch, for all that they have done in supporting the Family, and all that they did at the Church as a Guard of Honour You made Him and all the Family and his Friends Proud. Thank you all once again.
