Well this is terribly sad news. Kel was a tough soldier with a great sense of humour and I always enjoyed his company. The sterling work he did on the 93 Fermanagh tour restocking many of the border outposts at any time of day and night was superb and a great morale booster to those in the front line. He will be sorely missed and my heartfelt condolences go to all his relatives and friends. With deepest sympathy.

A sad day! On a personnel note we had many wonderful nights in the mess and afterwards in our homes, putting the world to right over a brandy with Rose, Ness and the kids trying to stop us singing! professionally I endorse Bob Lloyd's tribute to him on the Fermanagh tour he was tireless in looking after the boys in the police stations and patrol bases! I have fond memories of his white knuckle drives down the 'Dash!
