I served with Cyril in A Coy for over 10yrs, he was a very good friend and a great NCO. R.I.P my friend until we meet again. God Bless.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Lofty and I served together in 1 platoon in Erskine Camp in 1971. He was a young LCpl and I a very young 2Lt. He taught me a great deal about the practical aspects of soldiering and I always enjoyed his company. He will be sorely missed and I send my heartfelt condolences to his family.

There are many kinds of sorrow in this world of love and hate, but there is no sterner sorrow than a soldier's for his mate.

We were both very sorry to hear the sad news of Loftys passing. God Bless and R.I.P Lofty was a true gentleman and I was proud to call him my friend. Sue and I send our heartfelt and sincere condolences to Lorna, David, Jonathon and family.

Aw god another good one gone, I was trying to trace him as he was my Pl Sgt in Lemgo & I used to babysit for him, he was a real gentleman, condolences to Lorna and the rest of his family.

it is with great shock to read about Cyril Lloyd he was a great mate we done a lot together in lemgo we done the colour party together and went to the U S A together he was a very loyal soldier and very loyal to D COY, can I say to you lorna that he was a man who loved his family and his friends god blessw you and the family at this sad time rest in piece mate wally jones 15
