My Dad went on this tour some years ago and loved every bit of it since it took in the place where his father won the Military Medal, he said there is a lot of walking on rough ground and would have taken plenty of fluids with him each day if he had thought about it and a decent camera rather than the one they used. At the end of the day it will be what you make it mate. No doubt the last post ceremony at the Menin Gate will have tears in your eyes.

He has also been on the Dunkirk tour and loved every bit of that as well, mind he was emotional when he went to the beach where he was taken off from apparently, the great thing was all the people on the tour wanted to be on the bus dad was on because of him having been there.

Whats the itinerary Benny? Personally I would want some books or scans with me relevant to the RWF, assuming the tour is not specific to the Royal Welch.

Hi Benny went on the battlefield tours (World war 1) not with ledger but had a great time visiting all the sites brings it all home to you when you see the graves went to the Menim Gate to watch the last post which was very moving they also have a very good museum there. On our tour the guide asked if anyone had any relatives buried over here and he would take you to the grave yard where they put to rest.As some one else mentioned take a good pair of shoe's can be a lot of walking.
