Oh Dear, I new Harry briefly when he was a CSgt during the early part of my service life, 1960's, and found him to to be quite a nice chap, compared to some of his SNCO counterparts at the time. I think he was ex Band.

Deepest condolences to Harry, family and friends from all at London Branch RWFCA.

Hello Gerry et al,
You are right Gerry Harry did serve in the band. He was a mate of Bill Horton Freddie Lingwood- White, Mr Burton, Mr J Hampson all former bands men and their wives who attended out re-union in Jamaica in February 1993 to attend a service to the families of the York Air trooping disaster which killed many of the families and children from the 1st Battalion R W F and the service was held in the Garrison Church Kingston Jamaica. Another member of the R W F family has passed on to greater things. I offer my deepest sympathy to Harry and all his family and friends in this most tragic time, form both the Merthyr Tydfil and Carmarthen Branches of the R W F C A.
On behalf of Mr Derek Singer and Sonia Prichard
