We have just been notified that Peter Jones, the President of Colwyn Bay branch RWFCA, passed away yesterday.

Sorry to hear that. Pete (father of Phil "Jinx" Jones 38) was a regular visitor to the Sgts Mess during the early 90's in Berlin, many of us enjoyed a beer with him. Deepest sympathy to Phil and his family.

As a former secretary of the Colwyn Bay Branch I wish to pass on my condolences to Marj and Jinx 38 at this grim time ... a sad loss to the 23rd ... for those of you that did'nt know Pete, cut him and he bled Royal Welch, he was never happier than in the company of Fusiliers, and will be fondly remembered by all in Colwyn Bay that were fortunate to know him and call him a friend ...
