<tt></tt><tt>Mr Mervyn Thomas of Nantymoel, formerly of Bridgend, passed away in his sleep on Friday 10th August following a long and courageous battle against cancer.
</tt>
<tt>Mervyn joined the RWF for his National Service serving from 1954 - 56 completing his training in Rhyl from where he was posted to Germany. </tt>
<tt>Mervyn was a past member of the Swansea Association and was exceptionally proud of his links with his regiment.
</tt>
<tt>His family would welcome any of those who served with Mervyn and any RWF CA members to join them at his funeral on </tt>
<tt>Wednesday 22nd August at 1200 in Bridgend Crematorium with a reception after in Nantymoel Bowling Club.</tt>
