This terrible disease is no respecter of persons and it seems so unjust that Sox should have suffered from it. They say the good die young and here is yet more proof. Sox will be sorely missed. devastating news, sox was my section commander in berlin in A COY before i went to 10 platoon D.COY in berlin as a sprog, what a top bloke, he guided me through my fathers death as a young fusilier of 20 and new to the battalion my heart thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

We have now received the details of Sox's funeral. It will take place on Friday 10 August at St Johns Catholic Church, New Zealand Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff CF14 3BR at 1pm, followed by interment in Cathays Cemetery at 2.30. Refreshments will be available in the Sgts mess, Maindy Barracks at 3.
