I just read the Y Ddraig Goch magazine for 2005, particularly the Bn HQ section. I was intrigued to read that the RCMO*, who was an ex-ranker Captain at that time, was responsible for ensuring that everybody attended the correct training, education and resettlement courses. In our time the Senior Major's Clerk did all that while also being a PA for the battalion second in command. I remember Cpl Morgan 02 and Cpl O'Rourke in the job, as well as during 1971, in Hong Kong, I did it as a lance corporal B2 regimental clerk.
