I think we all had fun on Saturday, and a good turn out....

The venue did us proud with the buffet but the stairs were a bit steep...
but Cardiff it self..what a great city,

So any one with a venue in mind lets hear it in or out of Cardiff.

I have one from Dave Wozencroft ..a caravan site in Sully near the beach,i will check that one out to see if we can get a deal ....

i know the caravan site really well chow that dave's on about, my mate owns it & its nxt to the famous 'captains wife' pub i go there drinking now & again..problem is sully is a small place no b&b's or hotels for the guys staying overnight..so it would still mean a 4 mile taxi fare bk into cardiff to sleep the night, & not many b&b's in penarth where i am either, which is only 1 mile from sully..it has to be cardiff! well we got 51 weeks to get our thinking caps on haha!

what about the Royal British Legion in Splott...We went to a reunion last year that Keith May organised.....

Personally i would rather stay away from the Barracks.
cant go getting really pied there as much other venues...

Just to let ou know that is the date of the LEAGUE OF FRIENDS Diinner in Llandindodd Wells we do not want to get into competition with factions within the comrades association
so could you please chose a different date. best of luck with your task I knw how difficult it is to please everyone.

Tony many thanks for your post.
I have looked at our attendance lists for the reunions we have just had.
to me there should not be any problems with us having our respective reunions on the same date next year.

Guys.
Had a think and as Tony said in his post our reunions clash for next year.
the LOF have booked theirs for the next 3 years for that date and to save on any conflict of interest we should consider another date.
so have a think any one have a date in mind...
possible April...
