It is my sad duty to announce the death of Karen Lloyd wife of Ossie Lloyd. Karen's funeral will take place on THURSDAY, 14th FEBRUARY, 10am at the Cremetorium in Wrexham, afterwards at the Gospel Hall in Wrexham. The family has requested only family flowers but any donations can be made to Nightingale House

I never know what to say to someone at a time like this because "I'm sorry for your loss" sounds so pitiful and nothing we can say will ease the pain at this time.

But, on behalf of the whole forum, I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Ossie. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

Oh, Lord, how very sad.

Ossie was my first Platoon Sergeant, when I was straight out of the 'Factory' at Sandhurst. Through him, I met Karen on many occassions and they were such a great pair. I owe Ossie a lot and many in Alphas owed Karen a good deal for all she brought to 'our family'.
