You probably all know about on line quotes, but anyway. I had just received my new motorcycle insurance quote, a mate said get an online quote from the same company (Carol Nash, their good). tried it & was quoted £53 less I rang them & with no hassle they amended the original. result . :smileicon:

Your absolutely right there mate. Last year I had time to search the internet after receiving a quote from my insurance company that was £120 higher than the year before and no explaination as to why? Went on line and got a quote £85 cheaper than the previous year. I then spoke to my insurers who said they had to up the premium for all their custoomers because there were so many personal injury claims and people driving without insurance......once again Jo Public has to pay for criminal activity and those trying to claim whip-lash injury in every accident they have!

I fell off my bike last year doing approx 10mph, I was going down a steep hill I moved over into a passing space to let a car through, the space was off camber & dirty. I dropped the bike & the buggers wrote it off, no hassle they paid up, but I received several phone calls for months from them asking me why I hadn't taken advantage of the injury claim section of my insurance, I only scratched my knee.. I didn't claim..was I a mug not to ??

Dave, probably! Although my son-in-law was extremely lucky 20 months ago when he was nearly crushed by a Milk lorry on his mototrbike going to work......the insurance company were a pain in the ar*e however they did pay-out for the bike but then the personal injury claim for loss of earnings and a smashed shoulder and knee that had to be re-built is still not settled the Insurance Ombudsman is now involved......the lorry driver admitted liability......unbelievable!
