Man Flu!

Would you believe it. Started my Christmas holiday today and I've got man flu!

It started yesterday with a sore throat, then a runny nose - now cough etc.

As all the ladies know, this is a serious ailment suffered only by us blokes - I think women usually refer to it as a common cold!

You have my sympathy, I am almost recovered from the worst bout of flu I think I have ever had .My question is why do they call it man flu?I do hope you are over it by Crimpo.

I am now on my third round of tablets, as i have had the "man flu" for third time in 6/7 weeks

hi all from sunny malta. wellll not very sunny at the moment,gale force winds for the last 3 days/nights with torrential showers. but still around 10/12 deg.
for the last 3 weeks i have had the maltese version of Man Flu,:unsure: probably imported from U.K. by ryanair. and it is not at all pleasant:crybanner:, on 3rd bottle of cough mixture. but few glasses of red wine helps:peaceful:. got some scotch (J&B rare) but taste buds are not up to scratch,i smoke but i think rolled up newspaper probably would'nt taste any worse.hopefully will be better soon.
