I replied to a topic just now - a brief message flashed before I was re-directed - along the lines of my post had to be approved by a moderator before being submitted.

(Edit) This new thread went ahead as normal without any need for approval - what's going on?

I am pretty sure it is the Forum News letter, which has been moderated before you can post on it, as i had to moderate both John's and Rik's

I would imagine that it would be so that only Forum News letter business goes on it and not any other topics

Correct! It's a container for copies of the newsletter - a copy of each Newsletter will be attached
