Anyone know how to add McAfee total protection to Ipad 2 please

The iPad uses a different operating system, called iOS, so McAfee as used on the Windows PC will not work on an iPad. I don't know if there is a separate McAfee version for iOS, there may be, but I've never heard of it. I think the App Store has an antivirus app for the iPad, though.

As John said, you wouldn't be able to install a PC version directly onto the Ipad; however, there is a McAfee Mobile Security app, which runs on the Ipad platforms. Not surprisingly, it hasn't received many positive comments as at the moment there are no iPad viruses as you can't download anything other than apps from the appstore and media from iTunes.

Thanks fellas. From a general search online, the consensus appears that IPad2 does not require anti virus ( for various technical reasons that are well beyond my pay grade) not at all convinced however but I have a good man on the case at the moment in Jersey and hopefully will have some feedback from him tomorrow. I will pass it on of course just in case it is of vaue to other members. Thanks again.
