Very sad news A gentleman with a heart of gold. RIP Cow. Thoughts are with his family.
Condolences to his family from all at the Denbigh Branch of the Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association. We are all thinking of them at this very Sad Time. Braz
This is really sad news. He worked with me in Alphas when I was CQMS 94-96. He was my Fusilier Storeman. Absolutely 100% loyal, hardworking and he loved his regiment. The story's told about him are legendary. Give him a job, he would always get it done. He was one of the guys who are the backbone of any battalion. They do all the graft, year in, year out. His close friends will be fusiliers right through to LE Commissioned Captains and Majors. He served and lived with them all. A real character, with a big heart, right from his first day in the army.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends at this very sad time. Tragic, at such a young age.
Very sad news, remember him well. R.I.P. Michelle believes he was posted to Brecon. She had only seen him recently to sort his resettlement out.
What a shock, a kind hearted strong charecter, a lad you'd never think would die young..RIP Gareth...my thoughts are with your family at this sad time..
I had the privilege to have Cow as one of the members of our platoon in London Derry while on attachment to the Royal Hampshire's, (spit) he stood out amongst us Royal Welsh men as one of the most likable guys there and got on with everyone, he was the best ambassador for the Royal Welsh there. He was a very nice man, and I feel sorry for the lose to his family.Steve

I hear 94 took his own life. This is doubly sad. If only 'our family' members who have troubles would speak to those they have served with in the past they might be able to help them deal with, or solve, their problems. The Regiment has a support system via Des Williams at RHQ. Perhaps some are too embarrased to ask for help. All must know they shouldn't be. God bless, Cow. You have been a wonderfully loyal soldier and will be sadly missed by all who knew you.

RIP Cow, sincere condolences to your family
Oh Lord. So sad in itself to read that 'Cow' had passed away, but then to read Bob Lloyd's entry was doubly saddening.
A character, a strong supporter of Regiment and Company and a damn hard grafter. Anyone from the Battalion in his day would have known him.
For his family, a loss which happens in such a way must be achingly sad and difficult to take in. Our thoughts are with them.
