It has been reported to me that Ron Pugh Secretary Welsh Pool Branch RWFCA sadly passed away last Monday (300511) after a long illness, details of Ron's funeral has not yet been published.

On behalf of the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA, we sent our deepest sympathy to Ron's Family, Friends and Comrades' at this very sad time.

P.S If any Welshpool Branch is also on the forum, could you please let us know the funeral details.

l'm sorry l missed your post, Ron was branch secretary of Newtown and funeral was [yesterday] Mon 13th June at Montgomery.
He had a very good send off, the Newtown male voice choir [of which he was a member] were singing in churh [and the hotel after].

I have passed on all the messages from the forum to his wife Joan and family, who were very appreciative and sends there heartfelt thanks to all.
