Evening folks. I have had a great day at Twickenham watching the Army take on the Royal Navy in:

Ventrans Rubgy
Ladies Rugby
and of course the Final game of the Inter Services Rugby.

The Veterans and the Ladies team from the Army won their games.

The Senior side won their game, but after the first 20 mins, people around were very uncertain that the Army would win as they were 10-0 down. The Army did win 44-10, with Budgie playing his normal game.

Before the game I saw Gen Roddy and had a brief chat to him and as the team arrived (on foot from the hotel) saw 72 and Budgie, before they went into the dressing rooms.

Good day for all. Now for the Defence World Cup in September, Sydney with semi final and final in Auckland. For A Coy memebers, the Army team are staying in the same camp as we did in 1982.

The Army side kept their discipline this year then? If that's so it seems to have ensured their emphatic win!

Dai, I have imported the clip into our Media library. You should be able to do that yourself with future clips. Just click on the Media option on the top menu bar and look for Submit Media, or click here (http://rwf-forum.co.uk/vBulletin/media.php?do=submit). All you have to do then is insert the Youtube Link.

Getting rid of rugby would improve and indeed increase manpower for all Infantry units. The 1st Bn Rugby team was the only fully manned platoon during pre op deployment training for the last tour. Wtf is that about. Good riddance I say. Would improve morale no end too. Bring it back along with all other sports the Battalion has left behind when we get back to some kind of normality.
