Several officers attached to 1/RWF could not yet be identified. The information comes from the Casualty Reports and John Tyler's officers' biographies. The War Diary is uninformative. They are:

Jones, Cadwaladr Griffith, Lt
Commissioned to 4 RWF from OTU 01/03/1917. Attd for a short period to 1 RWF, dates unknown, before returning to 4 RWF.
Jones, GP. 2/Lt
Commissioned to 18 RWF, date unknown. Attd 1 RWF from 31/03/1916.
Lewis, Oliver Burns, Lt
Commissioned from the Artists Rifles OTC to 4 RWF 19/06/1916. Attd to 1 RWF in Italy, date unknown.
Thomas, E, 2/Lt
Evacuated with neuritis 28/02/1915. No further information found. Probably belonged to another regiment.
Young, Arthur John, 2/Lt
Born in Goodmayes, Essex, he was commissioned to the South Wales Borderers, date unknown, and served for a period attd to 1 RWF, dates unknown. He then returned to his own regiment and served in Palestine. KiA 10/03/1918, age 20. Buried Jerusalem War Cemetery.
Any information would be gratefully received and added to the 1/RWF Officers List. Or the entry deleted, as the case may be.
And while I'm at it, does anyone have any information on the 1/RWF padres? I found traces, but nothing more than that.
