Good afternoon everyone.
It was brought to my attention that some members were unhappy about the format for the dinner ie carvery and not silver service. I have had a meeting with the events manager at the Ramada, and we have come up with the following:
Starter - Leek and potato soup
Main - Chicken fillet wrapped in bacon, seasonal veg and new and roasted potatoes
Sweet - Lemon Tart with cream or Profitter rolls with cream (ice cream available instead of cream)
Cheese Board
Tea & Coffee
a glass of Port for the toast's and a bottle of Red and a Bottle of white on each table.
Disco and a Female vocalist
The cost will not change, however, I must have a minimum of 60 sitting down to keep the cost the same. Please do make every effort to attend now I have made these changes. I am also going to try and put a tab behind the bar with the remainder of Oscars donation after the wine has been paid for.
i need to know if any vegie meals are required.
I am waiting for a reply from Bob Lloyd and Andrew Faria (Padre 1st Bn) on their attendance as our guests.
Once again, please get round the members to try and get the numbers up, we have 41, at least 19 more required.
Also if you require rooms at the hotel, please book direct.
