Gents,
Reading the topic on Lemgo really brought back some great memories,really was a fantastic posting,and i will never forget when Fred Matter used to take me up the lakes to watch out whilst he poached the trout,something that has always stuck with me,
Anyone else have anything they never forgotten?

Wally 10, used to do the same with me, after kicking me out of bed at 02:30, and carrying all his poaching kit, but a fish breakfast back at his pad was well worth it

Lemgo, Walters bar...jaeger schnitzel. Never had one like it anywhere in Germany or anywhere else. Enjoyed the fishing as well, spent many an hour coarse fishing with Keith Will 38 and John "titch" Williams. Great days Lemgo certainly my favourite posting, especially in the Cpls Mess (flash club), great characters great memories (I'm filling up here).

Yes must agree,Lemgo first class posting,great sports and good times,and Gwyn i am sure the fish are bigger in Germany
